Every piece keeps the number of its beam.

We buy oak beams from barns, mills and farmhouses being rebuilt around the Luberon. Each beam gets a number before it is cut. That number is burnt into the underside of every piece made from it, with the year and the village.

One beam of four metres makes about eight chairs or one table.
